Stakeholder Consultations and Events
Stakeholder Consultations and Events
We cannot achieve successful change and transformation without ownership and involvement of the key stakeholders. I always considered it to be of paramount importance to ensure the inputs of all concerned parties are heard and reflected in the policies and projects we develop to the highest possible extent.
Below a selection of examples of past work on stakeholder consultations and event organization that I have successfully delivered:
- High-level Workshop on Literacy and Numeracy Foundational Skills: Conceptualized and organized a high-level policy workshop attended by Government, Development Partners and private organizations to discuss on the status of early learning in Rwanda and agree on joint actions;
- Strategy development stakeholder consultation : In the context of the development of strategies with the Governments of Rwanda and Uganda, I successfully organized stakeholder discussions and round tables with an audience between 100-200 stakeholders at its maximum.
- Youth Connekt: During the 2019 Youth Connekt Africa Event in Kigali, Rwanda, conceptualized and organized a session on “Skills for the Future”, including speakers such as Fred Swaniker, Elizabeth Tanya Masiyiwa and others;
- Matchmaking events with the Diaspora: Conceptualized and implemented a “Career Corner”, involving Rwandan Companies and Rwandans in the Diaspora on work opportunities at home.
- MAXQDA User Conference : Led the organization of the annual user conference for the qualitative data analysis software MAXQDA
