Strategy and Policy development

Being clear of where the project is heading and through which activities it will get there is crucial to ensure implementation happens and all stakeholders know their responsibilities.

Below a selection of examples of past work on strategy and policy development, that I have successfully delivered:

  • Uganda’s first Private Sector Development Strategy (Approved by cabinet in 2018): Co-leading the team, developing Implementation Plan, Coordinating Government and non-government stakeholders
  • Rwanda’s first Skills Development and Employment Promotion Strategy: Co-led the team, research for situational analysis, strategy framework development, implementation plan and budgeting
  • Human Capital Index Improvement Strategy: Led a cross-ministerial team in the education sector to develop a strategy on how Rwanda can improve its performance in the Human Capital Index;
  • Project Implementation Plan: As backstopper and consultant with GFA I supported project initiation and project implementation plan developments on a regular basis (4 projects)
  • Proposal development: fact finding and stakeholder consultations and development of project proposals (6 successfully awarded)
  •
